7 DAYS SAFARI IN RUAHA AND KITULO NATIONAL PARKS
OVERVIEW:
With an area of 20,226 km2 Ruaha National Park is the largest National Park in Tanzania and one of the largest National Park in Africa. The park has high diversity in both flora and fauna.
Ruaha is home to 10% of the remaining lion population in Africa. You will experience not only solitude in Ruaha National Park but also uniqueness of the beautiful Kitulo National Park a park
that is rich of beautiful wild flowers.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Day 01: Iringa – Ruaha National Park
After breakfast at the hotel you will catch a flight to Iringa, where you will be picked up and start your journey to Ruaha National Park. The drive will take about 2 hours. We will check in at the
camp and get ready for lunch at the restaurant. Afterwards we will depart for an evening game drive in the magnificent Ruaha National Park. Enjoy Ruaha’s rich wildlife, including antelopes,
giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopard, elephants and many more. Dinner will be served at Ruaha River Lodge where you will stay for overnight.
Day 2: Ruaha National Park
After an early morning breakfast we will leave for a full day of game drive. Lunch will be served in the park. In evening we will head back to the lodge. Dinner will be served at Ruaha River
Lodge where you will stay for overnight.
Day 3: Ruaha National Park
Enjoy a wonderful walking safari at sunset for about two hours along the Great Ruaha River with two armed rangers. There is a possibility to see hippos, crocodiles and lions coming to the river
to drink. We will have a late breakfast and you can relax before an evening game drive. Dinner will be served at Ruaha River Lodge where you will stay for overnight.
Day 4: Ruaha National Park – Mbeya city
We will head out for an early morning game drive starting at 06.30 until 09.30. After breakfast we will gather all belongings and depart for 3 hours’ drive to Mbeya with another game drive en-
route. Lunch will be served on the way to the Bonaki Hotel where you will have dinner and stay the night.
Day 5: Mbeya – Kitulo National Park
Early in the morning we will depart for the drive to Kitulo National Park. You will be picked up at 07:00am for the 4 hour drive there. After arrival, lunch will be served then proceed with tour
in this beautiful park. You will stay at the Guest House for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Kitulo National Park – Mbeya
After breakfast you will proceed with your trip in the park, witnessing variety of beautifullilies/wild flowers, lunch will be served in the park. Later in evening depart drive back to Mbeya.
You will have dinner and overnight stay at the Bonaki Hotel again.
Day 7: Mbeya – Dar Es Salaam
In the morning we will gather all belongings and depart to catch flight from Mbeya Dar Es Salaam where your trip will come to an end.
