OVERVIEW:
This trip is for the travellers filled with PASSION, VITALITY and ENERGY for Adventures.
After completing all the procedures of entering the country, you will be transferred to Triniti
Airport Hotel for dinner and transferred next morning to the airport to catch early flight to
Mbeya Songwe Airport. On arrival at Mbeya Songwe airport, meet and Assist from Our
professional Tour Guide who will answer all your queries regarding your safari and provide you
with a short briefing as well before the start of safari to Southern Tanzania destinations. Your
Safari will cover (Poroto Forests Reserve where you will do trekking to Lake Ngozi, Kitulo
National Park the Serengeti of flowers and Mpanga Kipengere game reserves. You will also visit
Isimila Stone Age site, Iringa town, Ruaha, Udzungwa, Mikumi and Nyerere National Parks and
eventually Kilwa Masoko before driving back to Dar Es Salaam).

DAY 01: ARRIVAL DAR ES SALAAM
After landing at Julius Nyerere Airport, you will be picked up and transferred to Triniti airport
hotel for day rest and overnight (this will depend on the time of arrival).
DAY 02: DAR ES SALAAM – MBEYA (LAKE NGOZI)
Wake up early around 0500am for transfer to the airport to catch your flight departing on
0600am to Mbeya Songwe International Airport. Your driver guide and Safari car will be
waiting for you at Airport, immediately after arrival drive to Mbeya town and stop there for
breakfast then depart for a drive to Poroto forests trekking to Lake Ngozi with lunch boxes. After
trekking for about forty five minutes you will be astonished to see a wonderful crater lake set on
top of the mountain, very good view, and snow covering the lake and luckily seeing all sides of
the lake in the absence of the snow or fogs.
After this beautiful adventure descend and depart for drive to Kitulo National Park for Camp
setting, night bush fire, dinner and overnight at Mwakipembo Public Camp site.
DAY 03: FULL DAY KITULO NATIONAL PARK
Perched at around 2600 meters above sea level between the rugged peaks of the Kipengere,
Poroto and Livingstone mountains, the well-watered volcanic soils of Kitulo support the largest
and most important montane grassland community in Tanzania. Referred by locals as The
Garden of God, Kitulo National Park is “one of the great floral spectacles of the world”, a rare
botanical marvel and home to 350 species of vascular plants, including 45 varieties of terrestrial
orchid.
Wake up early morning around 0630hrs and start a walking safari across the grasslands to watch
birds and wildflowers in the park and later breakfast at 0900hrs at the camping site. After
breakfast depart for a walk to Nhumbe Valley Waterfall with flower and bird watching en route,
your lunch will be served at waterfalls. Later on walk back to the camp for evening rest, dinner
and overnight.
DAY 04: KITULO – KIPENGERE GAME RESERVE – IRINGA
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast then break the camp, collect all your belongings and
lunch boxes ready for a departure to Kipengere Mpanga Nature Reserves. Mpanga Kipengere is
a reserve with unique flora and fauna, scenic beauty, cultural heritage in Nyumba Nitu forest and
Kimani waterfalls (250 metres high with many huge plunge pools at the base suitable for
swimming).
Arrive with trekking and walking safari heading to Waterfalls with bird watching and plants en
route, enjoy the rest of hours at the waterfalls and swim in Kimani waterfall pools. Later in
evening walk back to your car and drive to Iringa town. Check in at Gentle hills hotel for your
dinner and overnight.
DAY 05: IRINGA – RUAHA NATIONAL PARK (HALF GAME DRIVE)
Apart from being the Largest National Park in Tanzania and East Africa, the park is one of the
Tanzania birds' paradises with more than 571 species and some of them are known to be migrant
s from within and outside Africa.
Migrating species from Europe, Asia, Australian rim and Madagascar have been recorded in the
park. Ruaha is believed to have high concentration of elephants than any national park in East
Africa. I t is also a place where, magnificent mammals like Kudu (both Greater and Lesser),
Sable and Roan antelopes can easily be spotted in Miombo woodland.
The park is also a habitat for endangered wild dogs. Other animals in the park include lions
whereby Ruaha National Park account ten percent (10%) of lions population in Africa, leopards,
cheetah, giraffes, zebras, elands, impala, bat eared foxes and Jackals. Apart from large animals,
the park also harbours a number of reptiles and amphibians such as crocodiles, poisonous and
non-poisonous snakes, monitor lizards, agama lizards and frogs.
Wake up early for Breakfast, and then depart for drive to Ruaha national Park, it is two hours’
drive, check in and drive to Kiboko campsite to drop-off camping gears then proceed with game
drive, after couple of hours drive to the camp for hot lunch. Thereafter depart for game drive till
late evening.
DAY 06: WALKING SAFARI AND NIGHT GAME DRIVE-RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Wake up early morning around 0630hrs for hot breakfast, get ready for walking safari with
escort of armed rangers. You will be able to see different plant species, animals and birds. After
walking for two to four hours head back to the camp rest and have hot lunch and not leisure.
Later depart for evening game drive, at sunset you will drive back to the camp for quick lunch
then go for night game drive which will go up to 11pm or less. Later drive to the Kiboko public
camp site.
DAY 07: FULL GAME DRIVE IN RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Hot Breakfast at 0700hrs, depart at 0730hrs with packed picnic lunch boxes for the full day game
drive. Drive to the camp in evening for overnight.
DAY 08: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK – ISIMILA STONE AGE SITE – IRINGA
Wake up very early in the morning for breakfast, then collect all belongings and depart with
game drive on your exit out of the park, after checking out you will drive to Isimila Stone Age
Sites a place known recognized as a site of international importance for understanding the
behavioural complexity and plasticity of human ancestors. After hours of walks, interpretations
and photograph within standing earth pillars you will drive to Iringa town and check in at Gentle
hills hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 09: IRINGA – UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast in the morning around 0800hrs depart for a drive to Udzungwa Mountains
National Park. This will be three to four hour of road drive; on arrival you will have your lunch
and then depart for a walk to rubber plantation and village tour to have a great chance for
photography and interaction with the traditional life. Thereafter, walk back to the public camp
site for rest, dinner and overnight.
DAY 10: UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
Wake up for hot breakfast at the camp and then you will depart for a trekking to the Udzungwa
Mountains with lunch boxes. Here you will experience a great view on the mountain tops.
Different plants and different monkey species during your trek as well. Hike up to Sanje
waterfalls where you will swim and take pictures and deep view in the heart of nature. Picnic
lunch at the waterfalls. After great enjoyment and satisfaction descend the mountain to the camp
for resting, dinner and overnight.
DAY 11: UDZUNGWA – MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
After waking up you will have breakfast and then depart for two hours road drive to Mikumi
National Park. Arrive with game drive heading into the heart of the park, later in evening head to
camping site number 1 for dinner and overnight.
DAY 12: MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK
The open horizons and abundant wildlife of Mkata Floodplains, the popular centre-peace of
Mikumi, draw frequent comparisons to the more famous Serengeti plains. Lions survey their
grassy kingdom and the zebra, wildebeest, impala and buffalo herds that migrate across it from
the tops of the termite mounds. Giraffes forage in the isolated acacia stands that fringe the Mkata
River, islets of shade favoured also by Mikumi’s elephants.
Early morning breakfast, then depart for full day game drive in Mikumi National Park. Lunch
will be served in the park around midday, later in evening return to the public campsite number 1
for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 13: MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK – NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
At 30,893 square kilometres, the vast Nyerere National Park is actually Africa's largest stand-
alone National Park, and one of the largest in the world. The park is located in south Eastern
Tanzania, it is a huge wilderness area and safari destination in Southern Tanzania.
Nyerere Park boasts of the largest concentration of wild animals and a rich collection of wildlife
that is abundant and diverse. The fact that this park is new and largely less frequented by tourists
means that the animals here tend to be less exposed to humans. Good numbers of Big Cats such
as Lion, Leopard, and Cheetah are to be found here along with other large Game animals such as
Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Wildebeest and other wildlife.
Wake up for breakfast and collect all stuffs and lunch boxes ready for long drive to Nyerere
National Park via Kisaki. Check into the park and proceed to Tagalala public campsite.
DAY 14: FULL GAME DRIVE IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up with early morning breakfast, then depart with packed lunch for full day game drive,
you will see elephants, rhinos, African wild dogs, hyena, greater kudu, crocodile and many more,
also attractive birds and plants too. Lunch will be served in the jungle around midday.
After lunch proceed with game drive heading to the camp to collect camping gears and drive/exit
out of the park to Mapumnziko Public Camp Site out of the park for dinner and overnight.
DAY 15: FULL BOAT SAFARI IN NYERERE NATIONAL PARK
Wake up with hot breakfast, then depart for full day boat safari along Great Rufiji River. You
will have incredible sightings of hippo, crocodile, myriad of waterfowls etc. later in evening you
will be picked for drive back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 16: NYERERE NATIONAL PARK – KILWA MASOKO
Wake up early for breakfast then collect all belongings and lunch boxes ready to depart for long
drive to Kilwa Masoko town. On arrival you will check in at The Slow Leopard for dinner and
overnight stay.
DAY 17 & 18: KILWA MASOKO
You will spend two full days at THE SLOW LEOPARD – KILWA at Jimbiza Beach with set of
the following activities: slow cruise to Songo Mnara Island, Sunset boat cruise, snorkelling and
swimming in the natural swimming pool lagoon, and other beach games/activities.
DAY 19: KILWA MASOKO – DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast and morning leisure collect all stuffs of yours and lunch boxes ready for road
transfer for five to six hours to Dar Es Salaam. Arrive and check in at Triniti Airport Hotel for
dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 20: TRANSFER TO AIRPORT (DEPARTURE)
You will be transferred to Julius Nyerere International Airport depending on your flight
schedule. And that will mark the end of services.
